Sunshine Sue

SUNSHINE SUE

Susan Walsh, Antigonish

Susan's creative energy can be traced back to her earliest memories of growing up in a family of 14, where she was surrounded by music. As a child, she began singing with her sister at local variety shows in Stephenville, Newfoundland. Throughout her life, Susan's other great passions have been helping others discover their potential by exploring effective communication and creative expression. Her ongoing studies in therapeutic recreation, art, family literacy, and counseling have allowed her to merge each of these areas. The result is an eclectic body of work that includes, perhaps most notably, her popular children's television series, Sunshine Sue and You, which aired on Eastlink Television.
